This policy describes the data processing of this information site. GUI Test Studio itself is a Windows application installed locally on your machine, with no server operated by us — there is no user account, no cloud sync and no central database. Your projects, recordings and test-run results stay exclusively on the machine running the application.
You have the following rights regarding your personal data processed by us:
Please use the contact details above to exercise these rights.
When you visit these pages, the web server automatically processes technical access information (e.g. IP address, date/time, page requested, browser/OS identifier), as is technically necessary for any web server operation. This information is used solely to keep the site secure and stable and is not combined with other data sources. No analytics or tracking cookies and no external analytics services are used — these pages have no login and no user accounts.
GUI Test Studio stores projects (recorded test steps, anchor and reference images), general
settings, and test-run results (screenshots, diff images, HTML reports) exclusively locally
under Documents\GuiTestStudio on your machine. As the vendor, we never have
access to this data — it is not automatically transmitted to us.
An optionally stored Anthropic API key is saved encrypted (DPAPI, tied to your Windows user account) in the local settings, and is likewise never transmitted to us.
If you use the optional AI verification feature (analyzing failed image checkpoints or freely worded AI check steps), the screenshot in question and your verification instruction are sent to the Anthropic API solely for that specific check and processed there under Anthropic's own privacy policy. No such transmission occurs without actively using this feature.
GUI Test Studio does not send usage statistics, crash reports, or any other telemetry to us or third parties. The application's network access is limited to the AI verification described in section 6, which you actively trigger.
Since all project and test-run data is stored exclusively locally on your machine, you decide the retention period yourself — e.g. by deleting the project folder or individual test runs directly in the application or in the file system.
This privacy policy may be updated if data processing changes. The current version is always available on this page.
