1. Data controller

The data controller under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for this information site is:

INSPIRED SOFTWARE, David Kubitsch, Schönfließer Straße 3, 10439 Berlin, Germany
Phone: +49 30 54632960 · Email: info@inspiredsoftware.de

2. Scope of this policy

This policy describes the data processing of this information site. Automation Studio itself is a Windows application installed locally on your machine, with no server operated by us — there is no user account, no cloud sync and no central database. Your projects, recordings and automation-run results stay exclusively on the machine running the application.

3. Your rights as a data subject

You have the following rights regarding your personal data processed by us:

Please use the contact details above to exercise these rights.

4. Visiting this information site

When you visit these pages, the web server automatically processes technical access information (e.g. IP address, date/time, page requested, browser/OS identifier), as is technically necessary for any web server operation. This information is used solely to keep the site secure and stable and is not combined with other data sources. No analytics or tracking cookies and no external analytics services are used — these pages have no login and no user accounts.

5. Local data storage by the application

Automation Studio stores projects (recorded automation steps, anchor and reference images), general settings, and run results (screenshots, diff images, HTML reports) exclusively locally under Documents\AutomationStudio on your machine. As the vendor, we never have access to this data — it is not automatically transmitted to us.

6. No telemetry

Automation Studio does not send usage statistics, crash reports, or any other telemetry to us or third parties. The application's only network connection is to our license server, to activate your license or check the trial period; only the data required for licensing is transmitted in that process.

7. Retention period

Since all project and run data is stored exclusively locally on your machine, you decide the retention period yourself — e.g. by deleting the project folder or individual runs directly in the application or in the file system.

8. Changes to this policy

This privacy policy may be updated if data processing changes. The current version is always available on this page.
