This notice describes the data processing of this information offering. CaptureStudio itself is a Windows application installed locally on your machine, with no server operation on our part — there is no user account, no cloud sync, and no central database. Your projects and recordings (screen and speaker video) stay exclusively on the machine running the application.
You have the following rights regarding your personal data relative to us:
Contact us at the address above to exercise these rights.
When you visit these pages, the web server automatically processes technical access information (e.g. IP address, date/time, page requested, browser/OS identifier), as is technically necessary for any web server operation. This information serves solely the secure and stable operation of the pages and is not combined with other data sources. No analytics or tracking cookies and no external analytics services are used — these pages have no login and no user accounts.
CaptureStudio stores projects, recordings (screen and speaker video), and settings
exclusively locally under %AppData%\CaptureStudio on your machine. As the
manufacturer, we have no access to this data at any time — no automatic transmission to us
takes place.
When you activate an access code, CaptureStudio transmits a hardware fingerprint of your device along with the access code, encrypted (HTTPS), to the INSPIRED SOFTWARE license server (inspiredsoftware.de) to tie the license to that device. No screen or speaker recordings are transmitted at any point in this process. Without activating an access code, no such transmission takes place.
CaptureStudio sends no usage statistics, crash reports, or other telemetry to us or third parties. Network access by the application is limited to the license activation described in point 6, which you trigger yourself.
Since all project and recording data is stored exclusively locally on your machine, you decide how long it is kept — e.g. by deleting individual recordings directly in the application or the project folder on disk.
This privacy policy may be updated if the data processing changes. The current version is always available on this page.
