Small settings, big impact — from picking the right click style to portable export for sharing.
Five styles are available: ring, filled circle, ripple, dot, and crosshair. Which one fits best depends on the content of the recording.
Tip: For tutorials with many small icons, a bolder style like ripple or ring works better than a subtle dot.
The speaker overlay can be positioned in four corners and three sizes.
Tip: If important content sits in one corner (e.g. a toolbar icon in the bottom right), place the speaker overlay in a different corner so nothing gets covered.
As soon as you stop, the preview shows both videos. Failed takes — say, because the microphone was accidentally off — can be discarded right away instead of ending up in the project and getting cleaned up manually later.
Export produces a standalone folder with screen.mp4, speaker.mp4,
and combined.html. That folder can be shared as-is — e.g. zipped and sent to
colleagues or customers — even without CaptureStudio installed, since
combined.html runs directly in the browser.
For sharing over email or chat, "Low" or "Medium" is usually enough — for archiving or later editing in a video editor, "High" is worth it.
